According to my research on John Hipple and Elizabeth Teeter Croft, they had nine children. Using the Ancestry website, I have found the following information on each of them.

When Mary Ann Croft was born on November 24, 1841, her father, John, was 22, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 17. They lived in Huntingdon (now Bedford) County, Pennsylvania. She married Solomon Lyndon Coltrain on August 6, 1861, in Appanoose, Iowa. They had nine children in 21 years. To view information on their children, click the following link. Mary Ann died on April 18, 1909, in Appanoose, Iowa, at the age of 67, and was buried in Sales Cemetery.

When Margaret Croft was born on March 21, 1845, in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, her father, John, was 25, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 20. The Croft family was still living in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. She married Jacob W Hager on March 17, 1861, in Appanoose, Iowa. They had 14 children in 25 years. When Caroline “Carrie” Minerva Croft was born on March 26, 1853, her father, John, was 33, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 28. The Croft family lived in Appanoose County, Iowa. When William “Will” Teeter Croft was born on April 26, 1857, in Unionville, Appanoose County, Iowa, his father, John, was 38 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 32. William died on January 11, 1942, while visiting his son, Oscar, in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. He was 84 years old. He was buried in Mission Park South in San Antonio.
